Yesterday while out on the bike, I overheard a man talk about how he has been unemployed since July…. then I saw this and good ole grumpy Andy said everything I wanted to say … but in a much nicer way.

There is a new daily occurrence in my life… talking with people (and even friends) who have decided to just stop paying their
mortgage simply because the value of their house is not what it used to be. REALLY? Since when does this mean you’re responsibilities of being a homeowner can go right out the window??????
I could go on and on about this for the next few hours but it comes down to this. Besides for really fucking up your whole credit score and likely not being able to buy again anytime in the near, or far off future, you are eventually going to royally stick to it me and the other morally responsible people who pay their mortgages every month, on time, even though our homes are worth half of what it was purchased for.
America is going to be in for a rude awakening soon. I have learned a lot about loan modifications recently because of a new client and while the system is still flawed, the government is trying to make it so that you don’t let your home go into foreclosure. Not one person I’ve spoken to has even attempted to apply for a loan modification before saying “fuck it”. Instead their spouses are buying new homes, they are renting new places and pissing away money elsewhere INSTEAD of renting out their current home, sticking around and waiting this out before selling. But the more that people just up and walk away from their responsibilities, the worse it’s going to be for people like myself in the long run.
Get your head out of your ass and think about the long run, not the selfishness of right NOW.
Anti-cyclists are fat (and douches)

Example of an anti-cyclists response to a hit-and-run bike accident….
“did he survive? I can’t stand those gays riding around in there leotards, and the idiot should have fled in the car not on foot.”
Why is it that every anti-cyclist ALWAYS brings it back to our “spandex”, “leotard”, etc? There is only ONE logical explanation. They are fat….and jealous, that we look sooo damn good in skin tight outfits. I think it’s important to note that CYCLING IS A SPORT, NOT A CRIME!

President Obama’s Speech To Students
What the hell is wrong with you parents out there that “protested” the Obama Speech to students yesterday????? He simply stated that students should stay in school and set goals.
Look, I’m not the biggest Pres. O fan but give me a break. Douchebags Parents…. what exactly are you so scared of????????????? Your kids having a role model who is colored? Your kids staying in school and getting an education??? I honestly, cannot see the point of view at all. As a child, I remember Presidents giving messages to students (GASP) and we all turned out O.K.

Now on to business… DJ AM has died of apparent drug overdose. Now, up until now I had a lot of sympathy for this guy and liked him a lot but he was given a second chance at life and this is what he does with himself. I mean, seriously, crack pipes found in his home?!!? CRACK PIPES! How low can you go?????
His last communication to the world was via his Twitter, “New york, new york. Big city of dreams, but everything in new york aint always what it seems.” It was a line from a Grandmaster Flash song.
Sad indeed, but I can’t help but to think what a f**k up he had to of been in order to blow a second chance of life after surviving that horrific plane crash less than a year ago.
Oh well… another celeb dies on an overdose. Shocking I know. They’ll continue to kill themselves one by one.

M.J. Funeral cost taxpayers $1.4m
As if the media coverage obserity wasn’t enough (forget N Korea, G8 Summit and all of the other world events), we now learn that the obnoxious and over-the-top funeral cost L.A. taxpayers $1.4 million!!!!!!! Nearly 3000 police officers were in place for the event. What about the massive amounts of crime in LA??? Ridiculous. But someone with common sense from the city said:
“The city attorney does not want something like this happening again, the city paying (the initial costs) for a private event,” said spokesman for Los Angeles City Attorney Carmen Trutanich. “That’s especially in a cash-strapped city, where people have been furloughed or even lost jobs.”
For reaaaaal.
